When adding compressors on your channel, group and master bus be careful. Ratios are multiplicative and not additive. This means, if you compress your drum channel 10:1 and then compress your drum group 10:1 you're effectively compressing 100:1 not 20:1 overall. For more transparent results use low ratios in stages.
